What to Expect
Built Right, Finished Beautifully
Stamped concrete starts as a strong, reinforced slab and becomes something that looks hand-laid. While the concrete is still workable, color is added and patterned mats are pressed into the surface, creating the texture and joints of slate, flagstone, cobblestone, brick or even wood planks.
Because it is one continuous slab, there are no pavers to shift, no sand to wash out and no weeds to pull between the joints. With a good base, proper reinforcement, control joints and a sealer, a stamped patio is built to handle Middle Tennessee’s heat, rain and freeze-thaw cycles.

Control joints are cut, the slab cures and a sealer is applied.
How long does a stamped concrete patio last?
A properly installed and maintained stamped patio is built to last for many years. The base, reinforcement, control joints and sealer all matter, which is why we do each step carefully.
Is stamped concrete slippery?
Texture helps, and we can add a slip-resistant additive to the sealer for wet areas. Ask us about options for pool areas and steps.
Can the color fade?
Sunlight and wear can soften color over time, and resealing keeps it rich. We will explain how to care for your patio.
Can you add to my existing patio?
Often yes, either by matching a new section or by resurfacing the whole patio with a decorative overlay.
